So, if you've not explored Kelly Moore bags, I suggest you visit her website where there are all kinds of videos by her showing the virtues of each model. And everything is also backordered on there, so then come back here to make your purchase.
I bought the Juju bag... FAR too small... the classic bag ... nice but FAR too big... this b-hobo bag is the porridge that Goldilocks picked. Shipping was pretty fast which means I had it in time for my vacation in Paris and Belgium and BOY am I glad I had it. Under the flap is a full zip which was super handy since all the guide books say beware of pickpockets in Paris (I wasn't really THAT concerned, figured they were overstating it, but at least two of the cons the guide books warned us about were tried on us - multiple times.. but that's for another review) so I was able to keep my wallet and my gear away from roving hands.
This bag sits close to your body as well and just looks like a normal purse. Doesn't scream I HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN CAMERA EQUIPMENT IN HERE, PLEASE MUG ME. And that is a good thing.
I have seen reviews of KM bags bemoaning that they are not genuine leather. I'm pretty okay with that. One, an animal doesn't have to die for my every accessory. Two, I didn't worry about it AT ALL when we got caught in showers. And as I mentioned, it zips right up, so my gear was protected. It is good quality bag, well made. Some other reviewer said the faux leather looked really cheap, I didn't find that to be the case. I have the green bag, perhaps the black one looks more fake? I don't know. I've seen the fuchsia, green and gray in person and they don't look cheap. The fuchsia color could be richer however.
So, I'm very happy with it. If they weren't a bit pricey, I would want to get one in black and embellish it with studs for more of an urban bag. I do see myself getting the Classic bag one day as I get more gear.
I carried in it my 50MM lens, a 200MM lens, my canon DSLR body (always with one of the lenses attached), my large wallet, makeup bag, inhalers, a Japanese fan, a bandana, extra memory cards, a mobile phone, metro passes, two guidebooks and one phrase book, a map, a small notebook and index cards and a couple of pens.
It has external pockets which the "tutoral" video on the KM website says she uses for her phone, but I wouldn't put mine in there. Also, no way it would fit an iphone.
I don't have an iphone yet because I spend all my money on bags and cameras :)
