Large yet manageable Versipack has main and secondary compartments each filled to the gills with internal pockets and dividers. The frontal compartment features an additional lower zipper opening to access items at the bottom. Beaucoup attachment points line both exterior sides while rear and back sleeve compartments both contain 7 x 8 loop fields for CCW accessories allowing users to carry a handgun or three. The back compartment can also accommodate a 50 oz. hydration reservoir.

Heavy duty, configurable, comfortable. I use this as my camera bag. I carry in just this bag (I've added accessories to it - another reason Maxpedition rocks) my Rebel XSi, a telephoto lens, the standard "kit" lens, a 50mm lens, a 580EXII (one of those big honkin' ones) flash, as well as all the accessories (battery charger, extra batteries, cleaning kit, filters, caps, a notebook, pen, etc) that go with me.
It's worth noting that I DO NOT use this to carry a concealed weapon, but even with all of the items I've listed in the bag, there is still room for a weapon in the 92FS size range (or smaller, of course) should I decide to change that in the future.
Maxpedition offers all sorts of add-ons to customize your kit to what you need.
The build quality feels solid. I expect this thing to hold up to years, if not decades, of daily use. Zippers and cords are heavy duty, as is the stitching. I can't say enough good things about it. I was worried that I'd spent too much, but even for the price the colossus and Maxpedition exceeded my expectations.

I originally purchased this Colossus Versipack as a daiper bag for my son. It is no longer needed for that function so now it is my DSLR camera bag and is absolutely perfect for it. Great product. I have many Maxpedition bags and they are of the highest quality and very well made.
